I always stay here when in Mason. No, it's not shiny new, but everything works, is clean enough, and the beds and pillows are comfy. TV and a/c are good. Nice folks run the place. I will stay there again next time.
The staff here is really friendly. They were able to accommodate all of wants & needs that the group required. The rooms are updated and very clean. The pool was exceptionally clean and maintained. The chemical levels were just right. I would recommend this place to anyone needing to stay somewhere in Mason it is very affordable even for large groups I would recommend this place with no problem. Thank you for having us!
Wonderful small town motel. The staff is ALWAYS so cheerful and helpful. We’ve been coming to Mason once a year for fun and fellowship since 1969. Hill Country Inn is a favorite part of our tradition!!!
This little motel has most everything you need and at a great price. They even have RV hookups. The bed and TV were good, plus the room has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and hairdryer. It's also within walking distance of some stores and a cool antique store.
Hill country inn mason WOW !! since new owner has taken over it just great. 32 LED tv super clean room ,micro-fridge ,coffee maker and above all nice bed. Realy nice manager . i would recommend anyone to stay here.
Decent! Room was nice and clean. Shower was amazing! Quiet! We got stuck in Mason due to a blowout. Price was decent we were a walk in and they had plenty of rooms available.

My Family and I stopped in at the Hill Country Inn - Mason, First impression, was good. We went in office to check in and the young lady that is the manager was so sweet and caring. She showed us to our room and made us feel at home during our stay. The housekeeping staff were very sweet also. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The rooms were very clean, and had a nice new TV and a new refridge.
Clean rooms friendly staff willing to help out with your needs, doesn't matter what time day or night that you check in. Just ring the doorbell. Ask for the rooms down the Hill much nicer. Fridge, Flat screen TV, Queen beds are so comfortable. I would recommend the Hill Country Inn, and if at any time your not satisfied with your room, the staff is usually willing to accommodate you to make there customer feel more comfortable.
Very nice room's and very reasonable rates. Staff were friendly and helpful. Big clean pool. Would definitely stay again !!!
